Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets is 30 years old and has been playing in the NBA for 11 years now.
But there are times when he looks and moves like a brand new player ten years younger than that.

Wednesday night was one of those times, as Irving and his Nets took on the Milwaukee Bucks.
Irving showed that despite his age he is still able to move with speed and deft control.
The man still has some serious handles but, sadly, they didn’t result in a bucket following that sleek play on Wednesday night.
Irving might not have landed the shot following such fancy footwork but it sure did look great.
Dancing With Irving
One of Irving’s best assets is his intelligence on the basketball court.
The man has the ability to outsmart his opponents and outmaneuver and outplay them.
This has been true for all of his career.
You can say what you want about Irving but you cannot question that the man has serious vision when playing and leading a team.
He will need that in the new season because the Nets are desperate to get it together and start competing at championship levels.
Irving has been with the team for a few seasons now, along with Kevin Durant, but the squad continues to fall short.
Without injuries and COVID vaccine restrictions, the team is in better shape than it has been in a long time.
With Durant and Irving at the helm, they really could become competitive.
To do that, Irving will need to move with speed, skill, and smarts as he did on Wednesday against the Bucks.
However, he’ll also have to actually land the shots that he takes.
