Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets might be playing for a team that is severely lacking but that doesn’t mean he’s not still one of the best players alive.
Some people have even said that Durant is one of the top ten players of all time.
That will always be a hot talking point that people argue over but one thing is certain: Durant is comparable to the greatest to ever play, Michael Jordan.

In fact, Durant is the first player to begin a season with 13 straight 25-point games since Jordan began the 1988-89 season with 16 straight.
That’s a huge accomplishment and a major feather in Durant’s cap.
Based on how he’s playing, no one would be shocked if he actually surpasses Jordan.
Will any of this actually get his Nets back on track?
Durant’s Dreams Derailed
Durant had hoped that this would be the season that got his Nets deep into the playoffs and possibly to the NBA Finals.
A lot will have to change in order for that to happen.
Durant is doing great work, there is no doubt about that, but he sometimes looks like an island surrounded by other players who are trying to keep up with him, but falling short.
That could change: Kyrie Irving looks to be coming back soon following his suspension and perhaps Ben Simmons will get in good form again, Joe Harris will too, and Seth Curry will remain healthy.
A lot can go right for the Nets but, when it does, they have tons of ground to make up.
For now, the Nets are fun to watch because Durant is playing well.
But anyone hoping for an all-around consistent team should be looking elsewhere.
