Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets was online reminiscing about one of the greatest NBA players of all time.

Instead of bashing people or ESPN commentators on Twitter, Durant instead took a moment to memorialize one of his heroes in the most charming and humorous way possible.

Bean tryna get his stance right is too funny. I Miss my dog everyday https://t.co/0YCJx5tSBY

Durant retweeted a video of the American gold medal Olympic Men’s basketball team, filled with the likes of Chris Paul, Anthony Davis, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and, of course, Kobe Bryant.

Durant made particular mention of Bryant, who was caught trying to throw up a “tough” pose as the posse showed off their Olympic gold.

“Bean tryna get his stance right is too funny,” Durant said.

He added: “I Miss my dog everyday.”

He’s not alone with that sentiment.

Olympic Glory

The video shows the 2012 Men’s Olympic basketball team, which was one of the best to ever do it.

Not only did it include the men listed above, but it also had James Harden, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler, and Durant himself too.

The team was one of a kind and truly impressive.

It seemed like no one could slow down the team that year, as they steamrolled all the way to the Gold medal round against Spain and put them away, 107-100.

During the Olympics, Bryant put up 12.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists during all eight games.

However, it would be Durant who ended up being the team’s leader, with an average of 19.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

Still, Durant knows that the team wouldn’t be the raging success it was if it weren’t for Bryant, who played with his trademark grit and determination and unparalleled skill.
