Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies is having one heck of a season.
Because of his hard work and enthusiasm and incredible dedication, the Grizzlies are doing better than they have in ages and stand a chance to actually beat the rest of the West and make the NBA Finals.
All of this incredible output from Morant is making so many others take note of him.
One of those people is Jay Williams, who compared Morant to the most legendary basketball player of all time.

Speaking to ESPN, Williams said about Morant: “He’s like a skywalker in a way, like Michael Jordan.”
This isn’t the first time such high praise has been given to Morant.
Based on the way he’s performing, it won’t be the last time either.
MVP Morant
27.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 6.6 assists a game – those are the numbers Morant is putting up this season.
Needless to say, he is something of an NBA powerhouse and easily one of the greatest guys in the game.
The way that he is exploding at such a young age and helping a team that was once middling make it far into the postseason is definitely quite similar to Jordan in his prime.
Of course, it is too soon to compare him to Jordan in every way – for one, Morant hasn’t taken his team to the promised land yet nor won his first ring.
But there is every indication that he could and that’s saying something.
He is not only a flashy and fun player, he’s a smart player too – and a team leader.
That sounds an awful lot like Jordan.
