The Memphis Grizzlies weren’t able to secure a win against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night but some of their star players still performed very well.
GG Jackson was one of them, as he put up 35 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 three-pointers during the 137-116 defeat.
After the game, Jackson’s teammate, Ja Morant, tweeted about him, simply saying: “just wait.”

Jackson, a rookie out of South Carolina, is doing a lot of wonderful things during his first year in the league.
He is averaging 12.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
In a season filled with many lows, Jackson has been a high point for the struggling Grizzlies.
The team has long been known for its youthful energy and spirit, and Jackson is continuing that tradition and could be a face of the franchise moving forward.
This season is lost for the Grizzlies, so the team has no choice but to plan ahead and think about the future.
Due to a number of injuries, Memphis has been in trouble all season long and currently holds the 13th seed in the West with a dismal 23-47 record.
So even though Jackson has shown so much promise, the team is out of the running for the postseason this year.
However, the good news is that the team should be fully healthy next year, which will give Jackson a chance to play alongside Morant, Marcus Smart, Brandon Clarke, and others for a whole season.
For the next few weeks, Jackson and other Grizzlies players will be able to work on their games as the regular season comes to an end.
That will give fans many more chances to witness what Jackson is capable of before next season.
