The Memphis Grizzlies ended up losing to the Boston Celtics on Thursday night, falling at TD Garden, 120-107.
But that didn’t mean there weren’t a few remarkable moments from the Grizz.
Of course, Memphis’ main star, Ja Morant, was incredible yet again because that’s just the way he always is.

Morant put up a monster dunk as the second quarter came to a close, catching some air and wowing the Boston crowd and NBA commentators.
It’s true that Grizzlies ended up losing but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still having a stellar season thanks to the hard work of Morant.
Memphis On The Rise
There are only a few weeks left in the regular NBA season and the Grizzlies are making a strong attempt to enter the postseason near the top of the Western Conference standings.
Right now the team is in third place with a record of 43-21.
But they are only a half-game behind the second-place Golden State Warriors.
A lot can change in just a few weeks and there is a chance the team could enter the playoffs as the second seed, which means they could possibly take on the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, or New Orleans Pelicans.
Memphis fans should like their chances against any of those teams.
It’s paramount that Morant continues to have the MVP-worthy season he’s been having but there is no reason to believe he won’t.
The star player is averaging a wonderful 27.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists a game.
On Thursday night alone, he scored 38 points on 44 percent from the floor.
If Morant keeps ruling the floor the way he has been, the team really might end up surpassing the Warriors.
