It’s hard to summarize just how great a season Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies is having.
On paper, you see his stats: 27.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 6.6 assists a game.
But to really understand Morant, you need to watch him play and see how he navigates the floor, makes plays, and takes and even blocks difficult shots.
He’s fun, he’s flashy, he’s wonderful on both sides of the floor.
All of this has led many to see that he’s one of the best of the best in the league right now.
NBA legend Dwyane Wade has said that when the league celebrates its very best in 25 years, Morant will be part of that.

Speaking of a possible NBA 100 anniversary team similar to the recently-released NBA 75 anniversary team, Wade had no doubt Morant will be involved.
“In 25 years he’ll be up there on the stage,” Wade said.
It’s hard to argue with that.
Morant On The Rise
Believe it or not, the Grizzlies are battling for the top of the standings in the Western Conference.
They have some tough competition with the number one and number two Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.
The fact that the Grizzlies are in the third spot is impressive enough.
But with the way Morant has been playing and inspiring his teammates, the Grizz really could do what some thought once impossible and go to the Finals.
If that happens, it’ll cement Morant as perhaps the most impressive young player currently in the league.
It’s not every day you get to see someone explode in such a huge way like Morant has.
He’s someone that everyone – not just Memphis fans – should be wild about.
