Damian Lillard might be gone from the Portland Trail Blazers before the start of next season.
We expected Lillard to be one of the few players of today’s generation to stay with one team forever.
However, times are getting tough for the superstar guard.

The Trail Blazers were bounced from the playoffs in the first round once again.
They fired Lillard’s only head coach in the NBA, Terry Stotts.
Their new head coach is Chauncey Billups, who has disturbing allegations from the late 90s.
Lastly, Lillard does not know if the Trail Blazers can create a contender for him.
He is turning 31 years old in a couple of weeks.
Lillard is not getting any younger.
The team as they are currently constructed, cannot win a title.
In fact, they might not be a playoff team next season.
This might be the time to cut their losses and move Lillard.
These are the three best destinations for Lillard and his future.
3. Miami Heat
The Miami Heat were trying to build off of the success they had inside the bubble last season.
They were able to enjoy a miraculous run to the NBA Finals.
Granted, it ended in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
However, it was a great run that could have led to another deep trip in the playoffs.
That did not occur.
Instead, the Heat were swept in the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Heat had a chance to upgrade their team with a potential James Harden trade, but chose against it.
They probably regret that decision.
Now they have a chance for redemption.

Lillard is exactly what they need.
They are in desperate need of a star guard with Kendrick Nunn entering free agency and Goran Dragic getting up there in age.
This is where the Heat should strike.
Trade Offer: Trail Blazers trade Damian Lillard to Heat for Tyler Herro, Goran Dragic, Duncan Robinson, 2024 first-round pick, 2026 first-round pick, and 2028 first-round pick
2. Boston Celtics
We all know about how the Boston Celtics were afraid to pull the trigger on a lot of trades in the last several years.
However, Brad Stevens is now in charge of making trades and he has already made a big one.
The Celtics might be in the market for Lillard as they need to bounce back from a horrendous season.
After multiple trips to the Eastern Conference Finals over the last couple of seasons, they finished as the seventh seed.
This organization wants to be back in the title contention once again.
The current team might not be able to do so.
Jayson Tatum is a true young star in this league.
Lillard and Tatum can be a phenomenal one-two punch.
Trade Offer: Trail Blazers trade Damian Lillard to Celtics for Jaylen Brown, Tristan Thompson, Payton Pritchard, 2022 first-round pick, and 2024 first-round pick
1. Philadelphia 76ers
One of the other teams in the NBA going through a confusing time are the Philadelphia 76ers.
They were one of the favorites to win it all, but ended up being upset in the second round.
Now the 76ers are in a tough situation on where to go with this team.
A big move needs to be made by them and that might be moving Ben Simmons.
Lillard is what the 76ers need.
Blazers moves could force Damian Lillard to want out of Portland according to several reports

They have failed to get over the hump the last couple of years.
Acquiring Lillard might be the final move to win a title.
Trade Offer: Trail Blazers trade Damian Lillard and Robert Covington to the 76ers for Ben Simmons, Tyrese Maxey, George Hill, Shake Milton, 2022 first-round pick, 2024 first-round pick, and 2026 first-round pick
