The Memphis Grizzlies need to address Ja Morant’s situation immediately.
There was a lot of rumbling about Morant and his new-found tough guy attitude, and it finally caught up to him.
The league suspended the former second-overall pick after he showed off a gun on his Instagram Live while he was partying with some friends.
He later admitted his wrongdoing and claimed that he was going to be away from the team indefinitely as he worked out to learn “different ways to relieve stress.”
That’s why Keyshawn Johnson wants Morant to take a page out of LeBron James and Kevin Durant’s books, as they’ve set the blueprint to be a star on the court and a successful businessman off it.
“LeBron James and Kevin Durant, they gave him the blueprint on how to play on the court and how to handle business off,” Johnson said. “And if you can’t follow that lead and understand who those guys are and where their careers are right now, you don’t want it.

Truth be told, there’s no need for Ja Morant to act like this.
Morant is fresh off signing a signature deal with Nike, so he and his camp should know better than this.
He could now face a 50+ game suspension for carrying a gun on the team’s plane and bringing it to the facility, and he failed his team as a leader right before the playoffs.
He’s still young and could have a bright future ahead of him, but he needs to get his act together and start surrounding himself with better people now.
