Ja Morant’s behavior has been an issue for the Memphis Grizzlies long before it finally caught up to him.
The Grizzlies went from being an up-and-coming team everybody respected to a fake-tough team that was getting every other team’s best effort.
Their rivals wanted to make a statement against them after all the talking they did, and now they don’t even have their best player on the court.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Steven Adams held a player’s only meeting to urge the youngsters to stop partying and going out on the road.
Ironically, Morant still went out to a club on that very same night, showing off a gun on his IG live and then being suspended by the league.

The former second-overall pick will now be away from the team indefinitely, alleging that he’ll look to find new ways to relieve stress.
Morant should take a page out of Allen Iverson’s book and realize that the main thing should always be the main thing.
There’s no need to act like this when everybody knows you’re a millionaire athlete.
People from the streets would do everything to have Morant’s talents and opportunity to make generational wealth as an NBA player.
So, let’s hope he finally starts listening to his veterans and stops messing around.
