Running back Travis Etienne could have helped the Jacksonville Jaguars in what would have been his rookie season.
His chemistry with Trevor Lawrence might have put the rest of the NFL on notice.
Unfortunately, he suffered a Lisfranc injury, forcing him to miss the entire 2021 campaign.
Now that he has recovered and is ready to play, he will make up for lost time.
The Clemson alumnus would like to prove that Jacksonville made the right decision in picking him.
His accolades with the Tigers won’t matter because he’s now playing in the big leagues.
But as he prepares to see action for the Jaguars, he has an idea of how the team could maximize his skill set.

He said, “If I could be like Deebo Samuel, I would love that.”
Apparently, Samuel requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers because he did not like the way he was being used on offense.
However, he was delivering the goods as a cross between a wideout and a running back.
Samuel finished the 2021 regular season with 1,405 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Likewise, being a potent option in head coach Kyle Shanahan’s zone run scheme helped him score eight rushing touchdowns.
That number is the league record for rushing touchdowns in a season for a wide receiver.
Etienne Has The Hands And The Speed
Head coach Doug Pederson will be enamored with Etienne’s idea and he will find a way to make it work.
The Jaguars will maximize his boost to gain yards on the ground and complete passing plays.
More importantly, Etienne isn’t making up this suggestion without proof that he can do it.
In his final year at Clemson, he finished his game against Boston College with 264 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns.
That said, using Etienne as their Swiss Army knife on offense opens up limitless possibilities.
