Orioles Finding Ways To Have Fun During Another Rebuilding Year

The Baltimore Orioles, not unlike the Cincinnati Reds, are off to a rough start in 2022.

Although not nearly as bad as the Reds, the Orioles are still not in a good position.

They own a 9-16 record and sit in the cellar of the American League East division.

On top of that, they’re nine games out of first.

But that doesn’t mean that they can’t find some fun ways to pass the time.

Several teams have little trends that they practice when something good happens.

With the Boston Red Sox, it’s riding in a little cart after hitting a home run.

But the Orioles have taken matters into their own hands and started a new trend involving a “home run chain.”

Home Run Bling

This is a fun little trend the Orioles have going.

It’s better than not having anything to celebrate.

It’s nice that when a player hits a home run, he can wear some bling to show it off and look super cool.

How can that be bad?

Who wouldn’t want to wear a nice little chain after hitting a home run?

The Orioles put on their thinking caps and still found a way to have a little fun even in the midst of a year that is likely to be yet another rebuilding season.

Baseball is supposed to be fun.

What better way to let the kids play than to have a chain they can wear after they hit home runs?

The chain is beautiful too!

Instead of being gold, it’s Orioles orange.

That’s one way to rep your team and have some fun.

It gives the players something to get excited about, even during this tough season.
