The Baltimore Orioles have a chance to be one of the most exciting teams in baseball in 2024.
That is the case because they have so many talented players.
Unlike other teams, the Orioles have done a great job with homegrown talent.
They have drafted and developed many of their stars.
One who might be the best of them all is former first-overall pick Jackson Holliday.
He is the top prospect in baseball and has shown very few flaws in his game during his time in the minors.
Even at the age of 20, Holliday seems ready to make his MLB debut this year.
Holliday has performed well during spring training and should play himself onto the Opening Day roster.
But, that has yet to be announced.
MLB analyst Ben Verlander tweeted at the Orioles for them to announce Holliday’s inclusion on the roster.
Hello @Orioles. Please kindly announce that Jackson Holliday has made the Opening Day roster.
Thank you.

The Orioles are officially a win-now team.
We saw that last season when they won 100 games and finished as the top seed in the American League.
It would be foolish of them not to have their best players on the Opening Day roster.
Holliday is certainly one of the best players in their organization.
That is not to say he will not have growing pains in the big leagues.
But, allowing him to play every day and work through those issues is vital.
If the Orioles are serious about contending for the World Series they need Holliday on the roster.
He has shown enough in the minors and it is time to give him a chance in the big leagues.
