During each MLB spring training, there are always a few players that break out.
Most of them are younger players who are looking to try and win a spot on the MLB roster.
That is the case with the Colton Cowser of the Baltimore Orioles.
He is one of the top prospects in baseball, but made his MLB debut last season.
While his first MLB stint was not ideal, he has shown vast improvements this spring.
According to MLB Network, Cowser is one of 10 players they named who is having a breakout spring.

So far, he is hitting .450 this spring in 26 plate appearances.
He has nine hits, four of which are home runs, nine RBI, and four walks to seven strikeouts.
Cowser is showing that he deserves the chance to be on the Orioles’ Opening Day roster.
But he is not the only one dominating in spring training.
Another name that must be pointed out is the Texas Rangers’ top prospect, Wyatt Langford.
He was drafted last summer but is already making a case to be on their Opening Day roster.
Langford has dominated the minor leagues since he was drafted, and he has continued that dominance in the spring.
He is hitting .346 in the spring with four home runs and nine RBI.
It has been incredibly impressive for a player who is facing big-league pitching for the first time.
While not everyone he has faced is a certified big leaguer, he has faced some.
Langford has handled himself like a seasoned vet.
He and Cowser are two young players who are making a strong case to be on Opening Day rosters.
