One thing that makes the Baltimore Orioles special is their ability to draft and develop.
That is the best way to build a team, and the most cost-efficient.
Having a bunch of young players on cheap contracts is a great way to build a championship roster.
After so many years of being bad, the Orioles have finally figured it out.
They have hit on a few key draft picks and these players look like stars.
Their most recent first-overall pick was Jackson Holliday.
Plenty of hype surrounds Holliday as he is the number-one prospect in baseball.
All signs point to Holliday making the Opening Day roster in Baltimore.
But, how he performs in spring training will have a lot to say about that.
As shared by The Verge, Holliday ripped a double off Braves reliever Raisel Iglesias on Friday.

Holliday is only 20 years old and has made the minor leagues look easy.
If the Orioles want to reclaim their crown as AL East champions, Holliday could help them do that.
He has all the tools you look for in a star player.
He is a disciplined hitter who can hit for average and power.
Also, he has the speed to steal bases.
If there is a hole in Holliday’s game, we have yet to see it.
Baltimore has a great mix of veterans and young players on their roster.
The addition of Corbin Burnes to their pitching staff could be enough to push them over the top.
Last season, they were missing an elite starter.
But, that is no longer an issue.
The Orioles seem to have a championship-caliber roster in place, now they must prove it on the field.
