The Baltimore Orioles are going all-in for the 2024 season.
At least it looks that way with some of the moves they made this offseason.
The most significant was improving their starting pitching by acquiring Corbin Burnes from the Milwaukee Brewers.
Burnes is one of the best pitchers in baseball and he is the ace the Orioles have been looking for.
Still, the Orioles are looking for other ways to improve their roster.
One way is by adding more depth.
According to Jon Heyman, the Orioles have signed Julio Teheran to a minor league deal with an MLB camp invite.

Teheran pitched in 14 games last season for the Brewers.
He threw 71.2 innings with 50 strikeouts and an ERA of 4.40.
Also, he is entering his age-33 season.
Teheran is far from a difference-maker, but he can provide solid depth.
Across a 162-game season, you need many pitchers to make it through.
In the best-case scenario, Teheran is a back-of-the-rotation starter or a solid long reliever.
There is no downside to the deal as the Orioles are paying him almost nothing to try and make the roster.
You can bet the Orioles know how important pitching will be in 2024.
The AL East is the toughest division in baseball, and full of potent lineups.
Baltimore cannot afford to have any issues with their pitching.
That will be their Achilles heel for the 2024 season.
On paper, the Orioles have one of the best teams in baseball.
Now they must go out and earn it on the field.
