In his first year with the Orlando Magic, Paolo Banchero did a lot of great things.
He averaged 20 points a game, earned a spot on the 2022-23 All-Rookie Team, and also became Rookie of the Year.
It is very clear that the future could be very bright for Banchero.
His head coach, Jamahl Mosley, thinks that Banchero is a mix of some phenomenal NBA talent.
“Paolo [Banchero] is a combination of Carmelo [Anthony], LeBron [James], and [Jayson] Tatum… The passing skills. The ability to score in different areas. The power that they possess,” Mosley said, according to Mike Scotto via ClutchPoints.

Banchero produced 20 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists during his rookie season.
He quickly became the star player for the Magic and the center of their offense, and most of their defense too.
As mentioned, he did great work with scoring, passing, and defense too.
He created a problem for opponents all over the court.
Banchero lived up to the expectations set upon him as the number one draft pick and succeeded in just about every way.
In the summer, he also got to partake in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, showing his talent on an international stage.
Bancerho might have the skills of Anthony, James, and Tatum, as Mosley has said, but his team has yet to experience a lot of wins.
They were the 13th team in the East with a lackluster 34-48 record.
But the team has quite a few promising young players, including Franz Wagner, Cole Anthony, and more.
And with Banchero at the center of it all, they could become really good over the next few seasons.
His head coach believes that Banchero is a mix of multiple NBA greats.
Now, can he have a long career and win like they have?
