The Orlando Magic have found early success in the 2023-24 NBA season.
The majority of the credit goes to the dynamic duo of Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner.
Banchero is currently playing in his second NBA season, while Wagner is in the third season of his career, but they are already playing like seasoned veterans this season.
A perfect example of this was the duo’s elite performance during the Magic’s recent win against the Indiana Pacers in the 2023-24 NBA season.
After the game, Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton couldn’t help but praise the dynamic duo and even hailed them as the future of the NBA via Fawzan Amer on Twitter.
“They’re the future of the game — in the sense of where the game is trending. Long wings that can really do everything,” Haliburton said.
Indiana Pacers G Tyrese Haliburton showered the #Magic duo with praise in his post-game press-conference:
“They’re the future of the game — in the sense of where the game is trending. Long wings that can really do everything.… I mean they’re really really good, both those guys” pic.twitter.com/sQW7UY1dfg

It’s great to see a talented player like Tyrese Haliburton not holding any grudges against the young Magic duo despite ending up on the losing side.
Haliburton believes that Banchero and Wagner have what it takes to play well in the NBA in the future.
One reason why Haliburton believes that the duo is extremely talented is the fact that they are long-wing players who can do almost anything asked of them on the court.
The Magic registered a stunning 117-110 win over the Pacers.
In the victory, Wagner added 24 points and 6 rebounds.
On the other hand, Banchero recorded 34 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Magic.
Following the instrumental win, the Magic are now the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-11 record this season.
