Jamahl Mosley took over the role of the Orlando Magic’s head coach in the 2021-22 NBA season.
In his first year as the team’s head coach, the Magic finished with a 22-60 record.
However, the organization improved its record to 34-48 in the 2022-23 NBA season.
Now, this season, the Magic are currently 14-6 as they have emerged as one of the best teams in the league.
Mosley has certainly turned the team around, and for his efforts, the third-year head coach has been awarded the NBA’s Eastern Conference Coach of the Month award for November 2023.
Mosley has certainly helped the Magic have a phenomenal run in the 2023-24 NBA season, but he needs to ensure that the team can maintain its form for the remainder of the season.
After all, the Magic still have to play 62 games in the regular season to clinch a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Magic will hope to finally make the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2020 under the leadership of Mosley.
