Ja Morant was the shining star of the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night as the team secured a vital 111-109 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
This win puts the Grizzlies one triumph away from moving onto the second round of the NBA playoffs.
That’s a huge deal that should be getting a lot of attention.
However, something else from Tuesday night is getting a lot of buzz: Morant’s father.
That’s because he was courtside for the game and he looked nearly exactly like the very famous man sitting beside him.
Tee Morant was seated right next to R&B singer Usher and the similarity was uncanny.

Morant himself noted how much they look alike on Twitter, posting an image of his dad and Usher with the caption “Mane” and some laughing emojis.
The elder Morant has become a big part of this first-round series and if his son keeps performing the way he has been, we can expect to see a lot more of him.

Morant’s dad has been getting a lot of press during the opening round of the playoffs.
He and Karl-Anthony Towns’ dad were on national TV making wagers and talking smack to one another.
The pair are old friends so it was all in good fun.
But Morant’s dad really does have a reason to be excited for his son.
After a few years in the league, the younger Morant is possibly on his way to his first NBA Finals.
The Grizzlies are a stacked team with multiple powerful superstars.
You can definitely see them making a lot of trouble for the rest of the teams in the playoffs.
