The Dallas Mavericks have been a bit of a disaster since Kyrie Irving arrived in town.
Their defense — or lack thereof — has been atrocious, and it doesn’t seem like their on-court chemistry is quite there yet.
So, imagine how bad things could go for them when neither Irving nor Luka Doncic isn’t on the floor, which was the case when they hosted the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.
The Grizzlies — even with Ja Morant — didn’t find a lot of trouble dominating Jason Kidd’s team, and Dillon Brooks was loving every single minute of it.
The often-controversial Grizzlies guard didn’t waste the opportunity to taunt the rival fans and team, blowing a kiss to the crowd after hitting a side-step three-pointer.
Needless to say, Doncic didn’t care for this gesture, and it became quite evident by the look on his face.

This is exactly why Draymond Green went for the jugular when talking about Brooks, a glorified and entitled role player that’s trying to act like a villain way too often.
The Grizzlies were up big against a depleted team missing its two best players, so it’s not like he hit a dagger three in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
Brooks is rapidly becoming a disliked player among NBA circles, and he’s done way too much talking for a guy with no accolades to show for it.
He’s the fourth or fifth-best player on his team, and he’s taken uncalled-for shots at multiple fanbases and colleagues over the past couple of months.
