The Philadelphia Phillies made a big splash when they signed free agents Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos.
Now, Philadelphia appears ready to compete for a playoff spot.
But Schwarber is an interesting player.
He spent several years with the Chicago Cubs before signing with the Washington Nationals and being traded over to the Boston Red Sox.
The power has always been there for him, and he is a threat every time he steps in the box.
In fact, Schwarber is one of only two players to have achieved a certain feat.
Last year, he hit 12 home runs in 10-game span.
The only other player to do that was Albert Belle in 1995.

The Power Of Schwarber
This is an interesting stat, but it goes to show the kind of power Schwarber has at the plate.
He has a sweet swing and can take a pitcher deep at any given moment.
He has a ton of power, and though batting average has been a struggle for him throughout his career, he makes up for it with his power.
To be in the same company as Belle is an impressive feat in its own right, but the stat itself is what makes it even more impressive.
He may not have the kind of power Bryce Harper or Shohei Ohtani have, but he still is a great threat whenever he steps in the box.
Being in the same lineup as Harper, J.T. Realmuto, Rhys Hoskins, and Castellanos should also help him increase his power numbers.
When a power hitter has other power hitters behind him, that hitter feels more comfortable.
In that case, you have to pitch to him because of the next guy on deck, and Schwarber should benefit from that in 2022.
