The Philadelphia Phillies are preparing for another World Series run in 2024.
They made the World Series in 2022 and the NLCS last year.
But, they have been unable to finish the job.
One player who has helped carry the Phillies deep into the postseason is Bryce Harper.
He has become a postseason hero and holds one impressive postseason stat.
According to Codify, Harper has hit the most home runs in NLDS history with 10.
That surpasses Hall of Famer Chipper Jones by one.
Most home runs, NLDS history:
Bryce Harper, 10
Chipper Jones, 9
Carlos Beltrán, 8
Jayson Werth, 7
Jim Edmonds, 7
Ken Caminiti, 6
Max Muncy, 6
Travis d'Arnaud, 6
Chris Young, 5
Vinny Castilla, 5
Andruw Jones, 5
Joc Pederson, 5
Matt Holliday, 5

Harper has hit 16 home runs in his postseason career.
11 of them have come with the Phillies.
The best part about this for Phillies fans is that Harper should have many more to come.
He is entering his age-31 season and is still one of the best hitters in the sport.
But, the National League has gotten stronger this offseason.
We saw the Los Angeles Dodgers load up their roster, and the Atlanta Braves are still very talented.
Not to mention the reigning NL champion Arizona Diamondbacks should be good once again.
It will be a tough gauntlet for the Phillies to navigate to make it back to the NLDS.
When Harper signed with the Phillies back in 2019 his goal was to bring a championship to the city.
No matter how well Harper plays, anything short of a title will be a disappointment.
Also, that is the only thing missing on Harper’s Hall of Fame resume.
As we saw last season, the best teams in the regular season are not a lock to make the World Series.
For that to happen the Phillies are going to have to earn it.
