The Philadelphia Phillies have everything you look for in a World Series-contending team.
They have a great lineup, a strong pitching staff, and a young but promising bullpen.
But, what all great teams have is at least one star player.
The Phillies have that in first baseman Bryce Harper.
The two-time league MVP is still one of the best players in the sport.
He has already won one MVP with the Phillies and could be in line for a second in 2024.
Harold Reynolds even thinks Harper could be in for a monster season in the power department.
According to MLB Network, Reynolds said he thinks Harper will hit 40 home runs this season.

In each of the last two seasons, Harper has not hit the ball for a ton of power, but he has also lost a lot of time due to injury.
Harper is fully healthy this offseason and he should get back to mashing the ball.
Harper has only hit 40+ home runs one time in his career.
That came during his first MVP season with the Washington Nationals in 2015.
But, everything is setting up for him to make a run at his career high.
The Phillies are on the shortlist of teams that can compete for the World Series.
They made the World Series in 2022 and the NLCS last year.
For them to finally get the job done in 2024 they need Harper to be at his best.
The future Hall of Famer should add another elite season to his resume this year.
