The Philadelphia Phillies have the whole city hyped and excited.
They unexpectedly won Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the reigning champions, the Atlanta Braves, at their home of Truist Field.
Despite some ninth-inning drama and a three-run home run, Philadelphia was able to hang on and are now up 1-0 in the best-of-five series.
For a team that almost lost its ticket to the postseason in the last week of the regular season, the Phillies sure are playing at a high level.
They knocked out the NL Central champs, the St. Louis Cardinals, in the minimum of two games and on the road.
They also won the first game against the Braves, against all odds.
Everybody in Philadelphia is excited about the potential of this team, even their own players.
Phillies star Bryce Harper was actually filmed rocking a special chain with the logo of the squad.
The best and most important thing is that he looked proud to do so:

The Phillies Need Harper To Keep Performing At A High Level
If the Phillies are going to eliminate the defending World Series champs and current NL East winners, the man wearing the chain has to have an excellent series.
He is off to a very good start, fortunately.
In five trips to the plate on Tuesday, Harper had three hits, one walk, and one successful sacrifice bunt.
He also scored a run and was in the middle of all the offensive action.
He also had a terrific series against the Cardinals, slugging .714 with one home run.
If Harper keeps playing like this, the Phillies will have a chance to make it to the Championship Series.
There is a long way to cover, though.
