The other day, reports came out about P.J. Tucker being upset about his role with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Tucker was allegedly frustrated with his spot on the roster and felt he could be doing a lot more for the team.
Tucker gave some insight into his mindset, speaking with ClutchPoints.
“I feel like I still got a lot to contribute to a team to be able to win, whether that’s here or somewhere else. And here, it’s just not there right now. So I want to do what I can do,” Tucker said, per NBACentral.

This statement could be taken in multiple ways.
On one hand, it sounds like Tucker is really committed to being the best player he can be for the Clippers and he truly does believe he can offer a lot.
On the other hand, he is making it clear that if the Clippers don’t want to use him, he would like to be traded somewhere else.
It remains to be seen what opinion the Clippers have and what choice they make moving forward.
Tucker’s output with LA is some of the lowest of his career and he has averaged just 1.2 points and 2.4 rebounds during his 12 games with the Clippers.
He hasn’t had much of a chance to shine, as head coach Ty Lue has only used Tucker for about 14 minutes per game.
The Clippers have a lot of moving pieces and multiple players they have to devote a lot of time to and it feels as if Tucker has essentially fallen through the cracks.
If that really is the case, the team may listen to his demands and find another team that will take him.
Tucker says he is ready to play hard, but are the Clippers prepared to let him?
