After pulling off the blockbuster trade to acquire superstar guard James Harden, the Los Angeles Clippers looked like a lost team filled with superstars who simply couldn’t figure out how to play together.
Fortunately, the Clippers were able to turn things around after head coach Tyronn Lue had Russell Westbrook come off the bench, which became the team’s key to success, as Lue’s squad became one of the best teams in the league once again.
However, Los Angeles has started to struggle once again, with the team losing six out of their last 10 games and looking like a talented team heading in the wrong direction with the NBA playoffs right around the corner.
With the Clippers beginning a four-game road trip on Wednesday, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst believes tonight’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers is a must-win situation via NBA on ESPN.
“The Clippers have to win this game,” Windhorst said. “This is a must-win game because they’ve got to stem the tide. They’ve got to start this road trip off on a bright spot.”

As of right now, the New Orleans Pelicans are threatening to overtake the Clippers in the Western Conference standings, with Zion Williamson and company being a half-game back of Kawhi Leonard’s squad for the fourth seed.
This road trip will be crucial to the Clippers’ seeding in the conference, which will impact the team’s first-round playoff matchup, which could be New Orleans one way or another unless the Dallas Mavericks continue to stay hot and move up as well.
