James Harden returned to Philadelphia on Wednesday night as his Los Angeles Clippers played the 76ers.
Harden was not met with any feelings of brotherly love as boos rang out immediately when he took to the court.
Fans of the 76ers are obviously still very unhappy about how Harden left the team and they wanted to let him know it.
Speaking to NBC Sports Philadelphia after the game, he spoke about the unwelcome reception he received.
“If you ask them, they probably don’t know why they were booing,” Harden said about the crowd, indicating that the fans don’t grasp the whole story about his split from the team.
After talking a bit about how he is moving on from the 76ers drama, Harden was asked if he thought he and Sixers president Daryl Morey could ever patch things up and be friendly again.
“No, no,” Harden said before the question could even be finished.

It’s clear that Harden is still not fond of Morey or the way that he treated him.
According to the Clippers star, Morey promised him a max contract deal, didn’t deliver on it, and then lied.
This set off a firestorm of nasty headlines last summer, when Harden publicly called Morey a “liar” and said he would never play for him again.
He demanded a trade to the Clippers and made it clear that he would make life very hard for the Sixers until he got it.
Harden eventually received what he wanted and he seems happy playing in Los Angeles.
And on Wednesday night, his new team was able to beat his former one by a single point.
Harden has moved around the league a lot during his career and many of his departures have been dramatic and controversial.
Therefore, he’s used to boos from various fanbases and it doesn’t bother him, especially if his new team is winning.
