Veteran right-hander Matt Harvey has bounced around in recent years and has struggled to rediscover that form he once had as a member of the New York Mets.
Once known as “The Dark Knight”, Harvey has been a shell of his former self as of late.
But he will have another chance this year to prove himself and try to get back to where he once was way back when.
It was announced by MASN on Twitter that the Baltimore Orioles would be taking a chance on Harvey again this season.
The Orioles are currently working to bring back the veteran starter on a minor league deal.

Harvey Back In Baltimore
Harvey, 33, had a difficult 2021 season with Baltimore, posting an abysmal 6-14 record and pitching to an embarrassing 6.27 ERA.
He has not finished with an ERA under 4 since back in 2015, when he was still a member of the Mets.
But if the Orioles are going to keep him, they do so while bringing back a veteran guy with some valuable experience, which can help out their young pitching staff, that is, if he ever cracks the big-league roster.
It could turn out to be a low-risk, high-reward type deal for the Orioles.
There isn’t much expectation for Harvey or the Orioles this season, but if he can reach the majors this year and put together a decent season, perhaps a contending team could take a chance on him at the August 2 trade deadline.
Ultimately, we’ll see what happens with Harvey and the Orioles.
Harvey hasn’t been the same since his arm injury in 2016 and is far from the ace he used to be before then.
