J-Rod Celebrates With Family
Rodriguez brought everybody to the show on Monday night.
He didn’t want the award to be all about him.
Instead, he chose to celebrate it with everybody he loved.
And so, the Rodriguez family rejoiced and shared a nice moment with the man of the hour, and it was a moment that nobody will ever forget as Rodriguez turned to hug his loved ones as they cheered in unison.
Rodriguez was also named a Silver Slugger last week.
In 511 at-bats, Rodriguez picked up a total of 145 hits and even became a member of the 20-20 club, stealing 25 bases during the season.
His heroics helped the Mariners win 90 games and seize the second Wild Card spot in the American League.
Seattle eliminated the Toronto Blue Jays before falling short against the Houston Astros in the ALDS.
But Rodriguez’s standout rookie season will be remembered for a long time.
