When the 2022-23 NBA season started, a lot of pressure was on the Los Angeles Clippers.
The team finally had Kawhi Leonard back alongside Paul George – plus John Wall had joined.
Expectations were high and the Clippers were ready to meet them.
After just a few weeks, it became clear they weren’t going to be as strong as fans had hoped, as Leonard was painfully slow to reach full speed, George was suffering his own injuries, and Wall wasn’t delivering.

Some people had written the team off but then they started to win.
Now after only playing 28 games together, Leonard and George have turned things around and the Clippers are the fourth-best team in the West with a 33-28 record.
They are looking much, much better halfway through the season and the hopes of an impact on the playoffs are alive and well.
Leonard has come back to life in a big way and is now averaging 22.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4 assists a game.
After multiple long absences from the court, Leonard is now playing much more consistently and has been putting up double digits every night.
He is also now regularly playing more than 30 minutes a game.
Lately, the Clippers have had some impressive wins against teams like the Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, and more.
They also had a five-game winning streak a few weeks ago too.
The team now gets a week off for the All-Star break and they will use that time to rest, relax, and prepare for the tough second half of the season.
They are doing a lot better now but will have to keep at it to really reach the goal.
