The 2023-24 NBA season hasn’t been very kind so far to the Los Angeles Clippers as they’re currently the losers of six straight games.
The Clippers haven’t looked like themselves in recent weeks and most of that has to do with the integration of James Harden whom the team hitched their title hopes on.
Harden made it clear he wanted to come home to Southern California, but so far his return hasn’t been very fruitful considering the results.
With Harden on the roster, it’s forced Russell Westbrook into a new role off the ball and that has produced mixed results so far.
Everyone knows Westbrook is better with the basketball in his hands because his lack of shooting gravity makes it easier to defend Los Angeles, so Tyronn Lue’s got to figure out a way to work around that.
Although the on-court showings have left much to be desired, Westbrook made sure it didn’t change his off-court plans as he and his foundation handed out meals to families in need ahead of Thanksgiving via Joey Linn of Sports Illustrated.

Although known for his fierce demeanor on the basketball court, Westbrook’s actually widely regarded as one of the most generous and charitable players in the league.
A Los Angeles County native himself, Westbrook has done a lot of work back in his hometown to support the communities he grew up in.
No matter how fans feel about the former MVP, there’s no denying that he’s doing great work in Los Angeles and the people in that community are lucky to have him around.
