2022 was yet another season to forget for the Pittsburgh Pirates, who finished tied for last place in the National League Central division with the Cincinnati Reds and posted a dismal record of 62-100.
Having not survived the regular season, the Pirates have been forced to pass the time in other ways.
Recently, the Bucs put out a hype video on Twitter of one of their few stars, outfielder Bryan Reynolds.
The video shows several highlights from the early portion of Reynolds’ career, including home runs, clutch hits, bat flips, and celebrations for what he has accomplished thus far in his Pirates career.

Buccos Pass Time With Hype Video
Reynolds had a solid season in 2022, hitting .262 with 27 home runs, 62 RBI, and an .806 OPS.
Acquired from the San Francisco Giants in the Andrew McCutchen trade prior to the 2018 regular season, Reynolds has proven to be one of the most productive players in all of baseball.
Along with Oneil Cruz, Ke’Bryan Hayes, and Jack Suwinski, Reynolds has been an exciting player to watch for the Pirates as they build towards the future and try and usher in a new era of Pirates baseball.
For his career, Reynolds is hitting .281 with 74 home runs, 239 RBI, and an .842 OPS.
He is one of only a few players that the Pirates could look to build around as they try to complete their rebuilding phase and contend once more.
Pittsburgh has not reached the postseason since 2015, but they have an exciting young player on their hands with Reynolds, who could help transform the Pirates in the future.
