Obviously, the city has seen great success with its major sports teams over the years, including in the latest Super Bowl with the Rams.
But residents of Los Angeles are a prickly group and can hold some heated, angry opinions, even about the players who are attempting to bring greatness to their town.

George got a firsthand taste of that on Sunday, as he was booed heavily at the Las Vegas Raiders/Los Angeles Chargers game in LA.
Even though he was sitting with a home crowd, George was still hearing the disdain of the locals.
It’s not like George is a bad player so what gives?
There are two things at work here.
Firstly, no matter how much greatness the Clippers find, there are many people living in Los Angeles who feel the city will always belong to the Lakers.
Even during their worst times, the Lakers still own the hearts and minds of many southland natives.
Meanwhile, George and his Clippers have yet to really prove themselves to LA because they haven’t reached and won a Finals yet.
For years now, followers of the Clippers have been promised greatness and, as of now, that hasn’t been delivered.
Perhaps George will soon be hearing cheers instead of jeers when he enjoys his time in Los Angeles.
