A few weeks ago, when the Seattle Mariners made their triumphant return to the postseason, elementary school children in Seattle got a chance to watch Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against the Toronto Blue Jays.
They also got to see Cal Raleigh‘s home run in that game.
A viral video emerged of the students celebrating Raleigh’s home run that day, which fortunately, Raleigh caught wind of.
And so, Raleigh decided it was time that he paid a visit to that classroom.
On Twitter, the teacher of that class, Tim Rooney, posted a picture of Raleigh talking to his students.
Cal Raleigh saw the video of students celebrating his home run so he visited the classroom!

Raleigh Comes To Class
The Mariners season may be over, but that didn’t stop Raleigh from coming to say hello to the class that saw his home run.
Obviously, the teacher deserves a ton of credit for letting them watch the game in his class.
That had to have been exciting for those kids to experience.
Two weeks later, Raleigh showed up to class and got a chance to meet these children, which was certainly a dream come true for them.
Imagine getting a chance to meet your team’s postseason hero just two weeks after his big home run.
Raleigh deserves a lot of praise for taking the time out of his day to come and see these kids.
Most children can only dream of meeting their favorite professional athlete.
But these kids can say that they actually got to see Raleigh up close.
Now, all they can hope for next year is for Raleigh and the Mariners to make a deeper run into October and maybe even take home the first World Series title in team history.
