The Seattle Mariners will travel to Canada to face the Toronto Blue Jays in what is shaping up to be a thrilling Wild Card series matchup.
The M’s are seeded fifth, while the Blue Jays earned the top Wild Card spot and the fourth seed: that’s why the games will be at Rogers Centre, in Toronto.
The Mariners may not be favorites to advance against a very solid Blue Jays team, but they have the weapons to do some damage and could very well shock everyone and find their way to the Division Series.
This team has energy, flair, and a winning aura to them that makes them true competitors.
The work, of course, starts from the front office and ownership, but it extends well beyond the field.
In fact, the Mariners’ social media department prepared an incredible hype video to engage fans right before the series.

A Cool Video To Captivate Fans
It includes some participation by players celebrating, playing around with their bats, and/or making some gestures, but it mostly shows highlights of their excellent season, one that helped them break a 21-year-old playoffs drought.
Some of the most exciting highlights appear in the video, and the video of Cal Raleigh hitting a walk-off home run to secure the ticket to the playoffs is, of course, included.
The ending is majestic: the phrase “Sea Us Rise” stays for a few seconds, and it’s a nice reminder of the staying power of this young franchise: they are about to rise and become contenders for years to come, and they want people to be witnesses.
Can Seattle surprise Toronto over the weekend?
We are about to find out for sure, but they sure can.
