LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has big plans for the 2022-23 season.
Of course, his ultimate goal is to redeem himself and his team and once again lead LA deep into the postseason, preferably to the NBA Finals.
But even if that’s not possible, he is eager to show fans that his crew is getting back on track and wiping away the stench of last season.

However, if James can’t do that he can still rest easy knowing that this season will be special for another reason.
He now joins a rare class of NBA players.
There are only a select few athletes in the history of the league who have played for 20+ seasons, and now James is one of them.
He sits alongside Jamal Crawford, Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kevin Willis, Robert Parish, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Garnett, and Vince Carter.
That’s it – those are all the other guys who have lasted that long.
No matter how this season goes, James should be happy with this feat.
However, you know he wants more.
LeBron Leading The Lakers Again
If James is able to get his team together and help them get back to the Finals, it’ll be one of the largest turnarounds in NBA history.
Even with a few tweaks during the summer and a mostly healthy roster, the cards are stacked against the Lakers.
But James will still impress this year, even as he nears 38 years old.
The man has been playing with ferocity and explosiveness recently and has been claiming a number of important career milestones.
He is sure to do that more in 2022-23 and further cement his place in history, no matter how his Lakers do.
