Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber loves June.
June loves Kyle Schwarber.
As the weather warms up in America, so does Schwarber.
The Phils’ slugger and the month of June have an ongoing love story since 2021.
MLB insider Bob Nightengale illustrated his dominance with some stats.
“Man, no one loves June like Kyle Schwarber, who homered for the 15th time tonight in the #Phillies 1-0 victory. Since 2021, he has hit 31 of his 94 HRs and driven in 64 of his 199 RBI in the month of June,” he tweeted.

Just to clarify, he reached 16 home runs on the season, and not all of them were hit in the same game as the tweet might possibly indicate.
His solo home run against the Detroit Tigers was everything his team needed to win on Tuesday.
Average will never be a strong suit for Schwarber, but he sure can hit dingers.
For the year, he is slashing .173/.322/.425.
That’s quite an odd stat line: despite his putrid .173 average, his on-base ability and power have made him an above-average offensive player per wRC+ (104).
Since 2021, he has hit almost a third of his home runs in the month of June: 31 of 94, as Nightengale indicates in his tweet.
Last year, Schwarber hit 46 home runs and his average was .218.
The Phillies would probably be happy with a similar offensive output this time around.
He still has a long way to go until he takes his average to decent levels.
Still, his power was never in doubt.
You can actually expect more home runs now that the weather will start to warm up.
