On Monday, MLB tweeted a graphic of several superstars in the league and hyped them up as potential candidates for the American League MVP Award.
The stars that appeared in the graphic were Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, Marcus Semien, Wander Franco, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Aaron Judge, and Rafael Devers.
Not featured in the graphic was Cleveland Guardians star Jose Ramirez, and he seems quite confused as to why he is not featured.
In response to MLB’s tweet, Ramirez posted the classic GIF of former NBA player Nick Young making a confused face, with question marks appearing on either side of Young’s face at the end of the GIF.

Potential Snub?
It’s always nice when somebody brings back the old Nick Young GIF, but Ramirez certainly has reason to do so here.
He is a perennial MVP candidate and has been one of the game’s top stars over the past several seasons.
Perhaps he’s confused as to why Judge is there when he isn’t, as Judge has struggled with injuries over the past few seasons.
But it’s still nice to see Ramirez use this classic meme.
It is confusing as to why Ramirez was not featured in the graphic, as he is obviously a superstar in the game today.
Ramirez hit for a .266 batting average and went deep 36 times in 2021, posting a 6.7 WAR.
He is a three-time All-Star and three-time AL Silver Slugger Award winner.
But at least he is taking it in stride and isn’t making a huge stink about it, rather just posting a classic GIF on his Twitter page for a few laughs from fans.
As usual, expect him to be an MVP candidate this year.
