The Toronto Blue Jays had a busy offseason, acquiring Matt Chapman from the Oakland A’s while signing Kevin Gausman, Yimi Garcia, and Yusei Kikuchi to bolster their pitching staff.
On paper, this appears to be the best team in the American League, if not all of baseball.
Having stars such as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio, and George Springer certainly helps with that.
This will be their first full season playing back in front of fans in Toronto.
A huge advantage awaits them too.
The city of Toronto requires all players to be vaccinated in order to play at Rogers Centre and all players on the Blue Jays’ Opening Day roster have been vaccinated.
All Blue Jays players making their Opening Day roster are vaccinated, which may give them a real home field advantage. Unvaccinated players by current law r unable to travel to Canada to play immediately. Though vaccination rates r up, many players on other teams remain unvaxxed.

Jays At Full Strength
With everybody vaccinated, the Blue Jays are going to be at full strength whenever they play at home, barring injuries of course.
And with everybody healthy, this team is going to be dangerous.
They were busy in the offseason and now are ready to take the baseball world by storm.
Toronto narrowly missed the postseason in 2021, finishing 91-71, one game behind the New York Yankees for the second American League Wild Card spot, but the team is ready to get back on the field and put MLB on notice.
The Blue Jays are now a force to be reckoned with in the American League and look to be the class of the AL East division early one.
With the roster at full strength, this is a team that could win 100-plus games.
They’ll be an exciting team to watch for sure.
2022 promises to be an exciting year for baseball, and the Blue Jays certainly look like they are going to be a part of it.
