For too long, minor league ballplayers have seemingly been forgotten about and put on the back-burner, but with teams finally providing housing for its minor leaguers, Major League Baseball has taken a major step in the right direction.
Current Major League players are also taking the time to ensure that their team’s minor league players are provided with some of the bare necessities needed to get by in life.
Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. took matters into his own hands on Sunday night, inviting several Blue Jays minor league players out for a dinner at a restaurant close to the team’s spring training facility in Dunedin, Florida.

An Act Of Kindness
This is a nice kind gesture by Guerrero.
It’s always important to remember that outside of the fierce competition that takes place in baseball, the players are also human beings with hearts.
Guerrero’s willingness to invite young players out for dinner is just one example.
As they always say in moments like this, it’s just bigger than baseball.
It shows a side of players that ordinary people might not expect to see.
But it is always nice when players take time out of their day to do something good for others, whether it be for people in need, fans, or fellow players.
There’s a true sense of brotherhood in baseball among the players, and Guerrero made sure his brothers had something to do last night by inviting them to join him for dinner.
Guerrero has already proven that he is a superstar on the baseball field, but now he has proven that he is a superstar off the field as well.
Once again, this is bigger than baseball.
