Goldy, Arenado Are MVP Finalists
In addition to both Cardinals sluggers being MVP finalists, super utility man Brendan Donovan is a finalist for the National League Rookie of the Year Award.
Needless to say, the Cardinals have a great opportunity to take home some important hardware this offseason.
Both Goldschmidt and Arenado carried the Cardinals through the regular season.
Though both struggled in the postseason, the two sluggers were one of the major reasons that the Cardinals saw such a drastic offensive improvement from years past in 2022.
The Cardinals finished tied with the New York Mets for third in the National League and fifth in all of baseball with 772 runs scored.
The Cardinals were also sixth in the National League in batting average, hitting for a collective .252 average.
