Travis Kelce has been a staple of the Kansas City Chiefs offense for years now.
His connection with Patrick Mahomes is second to none, and many are already calling him the best tight end in NFL history.
Kelce is still making a colossal impact on the gridiron, but all good things must come to an end at some point.
When asked about a potential date of retirement, he believes he will play, “until the wheels fall off, baby,” via Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride.

Kelce is currently 33 years old, one of the oldest tight ends in the league.
If last season’s efforts are any indication, he likely has a few years of elite production left.
The good news for Kelce is that when he’s out of the league, he’ll likely find himself with a media career, should he choose to pursue it.
Kelce has already hosted Saturday Night Live, which came shortly after the Chiefs’ most recent Super Bowl victory.
He also hosts one of the nation’s most popular podcasts, which he happens to run with his brother, Jason.
In today’s media age, many NFL stars find themselves in a similar position when they are no longer in the league.
But, Kelce has maintained that he’s not planning to hang up the cleats anytime soon.
Will the Chiefs be able to take home another Lombardi Trophy this season, knowing that Kelce still has plenty of gas left in the tank?
