Tight end Rob Gronkowski might have been sending some feelers regarding his next NFL destination.
He did declare before that playing with quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals would be interesting.
However, another AFC contender is emerging as frontrunners to acquire his services.

B/R Gridiron simply tweeted, “Another weapon for Josh Allen?”
A mention of the name alone reveals the team to be the Buffalo Bills.
If Buffalo can somehow sign Gronkowski, other AFC teams might shiver about the fact that the Bills got even better.
The 32-year-old player signed a one-year, $8 million contract last season.
That said, the Bills might offer a contract around that number.
The Bills Will Dominate The Opposition
How fascinating it would be to see Gronkowski face his former team, the New England Patriots, at least twice in one season.
However, the biggest story is if the Bills will finally have the player that will lead them over the hump against the Kansas City Chiefs.
They’ve been bounced by the same team in two consecutive playoffs, with the second time more heartbreaking.
The Bills were 13 seconds away from hosting the AFC Championship Game and possibly playing in Super Bowl LVI.
Unfortunately, Patrick Mahomes went Grim Reaper mode to force overtime and eventually win the game.
If Gronkowski joins the Bills, he will be another target in Allen’s elite collection.
Devin Singletary and Zack Moss man the backfield while Dawson Knox will have to share playing time with him.
Then there’s the impressive receiving corps featuring Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders, Cole Beasley, and Gabriel Davis.
Throw the four-time Super Bowl champion into the mix and it’s unsurprising that the Bills might be targeting a perfect regular season.
