The Buffalo Bills are going to put Josh Allen in a tough spot next season.
With Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs out the door, he’s going to have limited options to work with on offense.
Notably, that has led fans to state that he’s going to be all alone out there in 2024.
That’s why former Bills WR Cole Beasley took to Twitter to dismiss that narrative, stating that the Bills have had plenty of good teams in the past, so it’s not like he’s been asked to compete on his own.
Alone is a crazy statement. Some of these bills fans are delusional. The only time he was truly alone out there was 2018. We had good teams every year after that. https://t.co/7BNEBnmGJg

Perhaps what the controversial wideout missed is the fact that the meme he responded to was referring to the upcoming season, not to the past.
Allen has had plenty of talent around him on both sides of the field; that’s just a fact.
It’s also a fact that he shouldn’t be blamed for his team’s shortcomings in the postseason, as he’s done his job more often than not.
Also, the Bills are in a tough spot, salary cap-wise, so they had to make some uncomfortable decisions and let several players walk away.
Allen will most likely rely heavily on WR Curtis Samuel and TEs Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid, and RB James Cook should also have a more prominent role in the offense going forward.
Then again, that’s not precisely an elite supporting cast, especially with two other Super Bowl contenders in the same division, so as much as Beasley may not like to hear it, Allen will mostly be on his own out there.
