Tom Brady’s retirement this morning took the NFL world by storm.
Although he retired just one year ago for the first time, this go-around feels different.
To show their gratitude for Brady, the New England Patriots posted a farewell video, highlighting Brady’s career as a whole.
Forever a legend.

Brady brought two decades of hope and success to the Patriots organization, winning six Super Bowls as a member of their team.
He has been one of, if not the most impactful player to any NFL team in history.
While the Patriots have been known to constantly have a great defense, it was Brady’s excellence that shined bright.
As a member of the Patriots, Brady started in 285 regular season games, amassing over 70,000 yards and 541 touchdowns.
He also achieved a postseason winning percentage of 89.8, which is by far the best in NFL history.
After a player of Brady’s caliber leaves an organization, it can be difficult for that particular organization to bounce back, reaching a similar success level that they did in previous seasons.
This has unfortunately reared its ugly head, as the Patriots’ record over the past three seasons is 25-25.
A winning percentage of .500 is unfamiliar territory for this team.
With Mac Jones at the helm, the Patriots will attempt to find success in 2023 and beyond.
Their division isn’t getting any easier, and they will need to make significant changes if they want to contend in the AFC East moving forward.
Bill Belichick has pledged his allegiance to this team, despite losing his franchise quarterback.
