In the aftermath of Damar Hamlin‘s injury and all of the trauma, waiting, stress, and overall unknowns about the situation at large, the Buffalo Bills have made a short statement about their current availability, particularly to the media.
The Bills will not be having any press conferences, and will not have any availability to media throughout the day.
The #Bills will hold meetings and a walk-through today. The team will not have any media availability today.

The team’s primary focus has been on Hamlin’s health, but they do have a game to prepare for, and the distraction of media members is the last thing that members of this team need.
Without the presence of media around the building, Bills staff and players alike will have more time together, not only to try and prepare for this week’s game but also to process their thoughts and emotions around this situation.
In times like these, there is great power in numbers.
By being surrounded by their fellow teammates and friends, Bills players will be granted the opportunity to process what has happened in the past 48 hours, pray together for Hamlin, and will be able to do so without distraction or outside forces.
The Bills are scheduled to face the New England Patriots on Sunday.
This is a huge game, and the Bills will need every advantage they can get throughout the week to get ready for this game.
Will the Bills be able to persevere through diversity this week?
We’ll soon see.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Damar Hamlin, and we join the team in wishing nothing but the best for him, and that he has a full and complete recovery.
