The Buffalo Bills organization has had a difficult week.
They had a game get suspended due to Damar Hamlin‘s injury, and he has been their primary focus over the last 48 hours.
While their focus rightfully should be on Hamlin and ensuring their teammate is okay, the league, and their game on Sunday have to go on.
This will not be a normal-looking week for the Bills, especially considering the level of preparation it takes to get ready for a game in the NFL.
Things are pretty different for the Bills. The team landed in Buffalo around 2:30 a.m. yesterday, and players came in later in the day, but really only to get information. Most of the focus, understandably, has been on Damar Hamlin and helping players deal with all this. (2/2)

After Hamlin’s injury and the game getting suspended, the Bills left Cincinnati late on Monday night, arriving back in Buffalo in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
Again, the Bills’ primary focus has been on Hamlin, getting information and updates on him, and less on practicing and game-prepping.
The Bills, somehow, will need to try and be productive in the next few days to get ready for their game against the New England Patriots, a game that has massive implications for both teams.
If the Patriots win, they significantly increase their chances of making the playoffs as a Wild Card team.
If the Bills win, they get that much closer to a first-round bye, setting themselves up to host playoff games in Buffalo throughout their time in the playoffs.
All of the NFL media is hoping and praying for some positive news for Hamlin to put our minds at ease.
The Bills organization is likely doing the same, making it nearly impossible to focus on this week’s game at the moment.
