The Phoenix Suns suffered a tough loss in pre-game warmups on Wednesday.
Their newest star player Kevin Durant was set to make his home debut.
But, he slipped and rolled his ankle, which resulted in a grade 2 sprain.
It seems likely that Durant will miss the rest of the regular season with this injury.
Durant, can not seem to stay healthy.
Even though this was a freak injury, he will again miss an extended period.
Stephen A Smith thinks the Suns have no chance at an NBA Title without their best player.
"There are no title aspirations that are reasonable for the Phoenix Suns without Kevin Durant. … If he ain't there, they don't have a snowball's chance in hell."

The Suns gave up some valuable depth pieces in the trade to acquire Durant.
So without him, they have to play many players who do not have star ability.
The Suns have a top-loaded roster with Durant, Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and DeAndre Ayton.
But, without Durant, they do not have a chance to come out of the West.
Another interesting point Smith made was why Durant continues wearing low-top shoes.
High-tops provide more support for ankle injuries, and they seem like a smarter move for basketball players.
But, sometimes a player is more interested in the style of their shoe than the safety of it.
It will be interesting to see what shoes he wears when he returns from injury.
Durant is the one player on Phoenix that has played a key role on a championship team.
He can take them over the top, but he needs to be on the floor to do so.
