The Phoenix Suns sounded off the alarms as soon as Kevin Durant fell with an injury.
The superstar forward twisted his ankle badly and was quickly ruled out of their game vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He’ll undergo further testing, but reports from Arizona state that he may have suffered a grade 2 ankle injury, putting him in doubt for the remainder of the regular season and the start of the playoffs.
However, ESPN analyst Zach Lowe doesn’t think the Suns should be all that concerned about this situation.
"There's no issues fitting [KD] in like most superstar players. He's the most easily fittable superstar in NBA history."

Per Lowe, Durant is a natural fit on every single team and system, so they won’t need to fit him in or work him up before throwing him back out there on the floor.
Lowe is right on point from a basketball standpoint.
However, every team needs to develop on-court rapport to be at its best.
The Suns went a perfect 3-0 with KD on the lineup, cementing themselves as the team to beat in the Western Conference.
Nevertheless, him being on the floor is pretty much the biggest part of the reason why they became the oddsmakers’ favorites to win it all, so their title chances will take a big dip until we have further knowledge of his status.
Durant hasn’t been able to stay on the floor since that major injury he suffered in the 2019 NBA Finals.
He’s 34 years old already and while it’s evident that he’s still a superstar in this league, we might be witnessing the beginning of the end for him.
